Manufacturing Control Systems Maintenance Technician
Terrell, TX & Surrounding Areas
$35–$45/hour (experience-based) | Full-Time with Overtime Available
Join Express Employment Professionals in Terrell and help high-performing manufacturers across Rockwall, Kaufman, and Van Zandt counties maximize uptime. This role is crafted for a controls expert who leads with automation, diagnostics, and precision troubleshooting.
Your missionSafeguard production by keeping complex, PLC-driven assets reliable. You’ll own the controls layer—while lending a hand mechanically when needed—to ensure safe, steady output.
Impact areas- Rapid recovery of PLC-controlled equipment during live operations
- Expert navigation of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi ecosystems
- Root-cause analysis via HMI interfaces , ladder logic , and I/O troubleshooting
- Targeted PLC program modifications and support
- Electrical troubleshooting across motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and 480V systems
- Strong, hands-on PLC troubleshooting/diagnostics
- Comfort with electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Experience working with VFDs , servo motors , and automated equipment
- Industrial/manufacturing maintenance background
- Independent, decisive problem-solver
- Editing/creating PLC programs
- Robotics familiarity (Fanuc, ABB, etc.)
- Electrical certifications or technical training
- Commissioning/installation of new machinery
- $35–$45/hour depending on experience
