Facilities Maintenance Technician II

Role Overview Facilities Maintenance Technician II in Goleta, CA (In‑Office). This entry‑level role supports day‑to‑day maintenance and operations of our corporate office. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, minor repairs, and event support to ensure a safe, functional, and professional workspace. Responsibilities Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting offices, and minor plumbing repairs. Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner. Set up and break down conference rooms, furniture, and equipment for meetings and events. Assist with vendor and catering setups and breakdowns. Ensure rooms are clean, organized, and ready for scheduled use. Receive, organize, and stock maintenance supplies, furniture, and office materials. Track inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock or replenishment needs. Assist with delivery coordination, storage organization, and material movement across the facility. Respond to employee requests for maintenance or workspace adjustments. Support office moves, reconfigurations, and workstation setups. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in all common areas. Follow safety procedures and company policies during all maintenance activities. Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or compliance concerns. Assist in maintaining compliance with building and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. OSHA10 certification preferred but not required; basic trade certifications optional. 0–2years of experience in facilities maintenance, general labor, or a similar field. Experience in a corporate office environment is a plus. Basic knowledge of building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry). Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Effective communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
