Senior Clinical Research Associate

ICON seeks a Senior Clinical Research Associate to oversee clinical trial monitoring activities at sponsor-dedicated sites, ensuring protocol adherence and regulatory compliance. The role requires extensive CRA experience, preferably in oncology Phase I trials, with ability to manage multiple sites and mentor junior staff across a multi-state region.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites for protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and GCP standards
- Conduct site visits to assess performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide operational support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on timely and accurate data collection and reporting
- Train and guide site staff and other CRAs on clinical trial conduct standards
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to facilitate trial operations and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific or healthcare-related field
- Extensive Clinical Research Associate experience with strong regulatory and trial process knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously
- Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and clinical trial software tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% as required
- Preferred oncology experience with Phase I trial background
Compensation: $110,520–$138,150 base
