Sales Counselor

Description Estimated first-year earnings range: $65,000 - $85,000. Uncapped commission and earnings. Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks. This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales. 1 year of sales experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required. Experience working in a CRM preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information. Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
