Job Summary and Qualifications

Do you enjoy helping people regain mobility, recover from injuries, and get back to doing what they love? As a Physical Therapy Technician, you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Urgent Care environment. Every interaction you have helps create a positive patient experience and supports faster recoverymaking a meaningful impact on the lives of your patients every day.

In this role you will:

• Support Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants by assisting patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises, mobility activities, transfers, and positioning under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms, therapy equipment, and supplies so patients receive efficient, high-quality care from the moment they arrive.
• Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and communicate any concerns or changes to the licensed rehabilitation team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment by sanitizing equipment and ensuring therapy areas are ready for each patient.
• Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion while assisting with check-in, scheduling appointments, reminder calls, and check-out activities.
• Assist with administrative workflows including documentation preparation, electronic medical record support, insurance verification, copay collection, and charge capture processes.
• Safely assist with patient movement throughout the clinic while helping create a comfortable and supportive rehabilitation experience.
• Keep therapy equipment organized, maintained, and functioning properly to support efficient daily clinic operations.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and urgent care teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience while supporting efficient clinic flow.

You should have: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• One year of experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, athletic training, urgent care, or another healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous outpatient rehabilitation or physical therapy clinic experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
