Collision Repair Technician / Auto Body TechnicianSpecialized Auto Craft LLC | Chatham, NJJob Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PMCompetitive hourly pay based on experience, qualifications, and skill level.Build Your Career With a Shop That Puts Quality First. Specialized Auto Craft is a family-owned and operated, OEM-certified collision repair facility proudly serving the Chatham, New Jersey area for over 50 years.Responsibilities:Perform high-quality collision repairs on a variety of makes and models.Diagnose and repair structural and non-structural collision damage.Perform vehicle disassembly, repair, and reassembly according to manufacturer specifications.Follow OEM repair procedures and industry-recognized repair standards.Perform metalwork, panel replacement, welding, and component repairs as required.Work collaboratively with repair planners and fellow technicians to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.Identify and communicate additional damage or repair requirements throughout the repair process.Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.Demonstrate accountability for workmanship, productivity, and repair quality.Qualifications:Prior professional experience in collision repair or auto body repair.Strong knowledge of collision repair methods, tools, and equipment.Experience with structural and non-structural repairs.Ability to read, understand, and follow OEM repair procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional standards.Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop additional technical skills.I-CAR training and OEM certifications are a plus.Valid driver's license preferred.What We Offer:Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.Consistent full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.Family-owned business with over 50 years of industry experience.Professional, team-oriented work environment.Opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.Exposure to advanced collision repair technology and OEM repair procedures.Opportunities for continued technical development and professional growth.A company that values craftsmanship, accountability, and doing the job right.Why Specialized Auto Craft?:We believe that quality repairs begin with quality people.
