Forklift/Material Handler

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

About the Role

Our logistics client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift/Material Handler to join their team. This position plays a vital role in the warehouse operations, ensuring efficient movement and organization of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks, containers, and warehouse storage areas
Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the facility
Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance needs
Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
Perform heavy lifting as required
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math and computer skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Must pass a THC drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects regularly
Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Work in varying warehouse temperatures
