Busy Interior design firm in need of design coordinator. Entry or mid level position. Team works closely together and to make our exclusive clienteles' interior dreams a reality. Duties include ordering furniture fabrics and accessories. Receiving, inspecting, labeling for location and confirming documentation. Samples procured and design room updated and purged as needed. Meet with vendors, drive to workrooms to review progress and take documents, fabrics etc. and review with contractor. Review progress on screen or at shipyard. Looking for a new team member with high standards and natural eye for detail. It is sometimes necessary to carry objects such as lamps or bedding to a job site so it is imperative candidate has minimal physical conditions restricting them from the duties required. Lots of stairs and scaffolding.
