Position Summary To meet the needs of the customer by having knowledge of the surgical procedure, preparing supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases. Anticipates the needs in the surgical field when passing instruments, and assists the surgical team in all procedures. The surgical technician is responsible for case clean‑up, patient positioning, moving patients, and room turnover. Responsibilities Prepare supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases. Anticipate and pass instruments to the surgical team as needed. Assist the surgical team in all procedures. Clean up after each case to ensure proper room turnover. Position patients appropriately for procedures. Qualifications Education and Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or certification, or a degree from an accredited nursing program or equivalent. Skills Fluent in speaking and writing English. Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of surgical instruments. Benefits Challenging and rewarding work environment.
