Job Description
Express Employment Professionals seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our client’s team. The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing inventory while maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory shortages to management.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately complete paperwork.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
