Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology Experience Required)

Location

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit serving a variety of neurology diagnoses
• Utilize the NIH Stroke Scale and other neurological assessment tools as part of routine patient monitoring
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5
• Float between units within the facility as operationally needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of neurology nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of overall RN experience required
• Valid RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with neurology-specific patient populations and care protocols
• Experience floating between units or sister facilities
