TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds Med/Surg RN in Albemarle, North Carolina, 28001!

Job Title: RN - Pediatric Infusion Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatric Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Required Certifications: PALS, BLS, APHON Must-Have: Pediatric-specific experience with infusions Strong outpatient experience in pediatric oncology and hematology Description: RN needed for Pediatric Infusion unit. Facility will have outpatient infusion center with 25 infusion rooms and 2 procedure rooms. The department typically operates at 50-60% capacity daily. Patient types include infusions and treatments for hematology, oncology, neuro-oncology, gastroenterology, and endocrine diseases. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 3 patients. Support staff includes CNAs for rooming patients and vitals, receptionist, and charge nurses. No phlebotomy services are provided, but an IV/VAT team is available. RT services are available 24/7, as are hospitalist services and AP providers during open hours. Technology used includes EMR: Epic, IV pump: Alaris, medication dispensing: Omnicell, and monitors: GE. Travelers will rotate weekends every 4th weekend, and holiday work expectations include 75% of holidays. Scheduling accommodates 8, 9, and 10-hour shifts depending on departmental needs. The unit has a great team atmosphere. Scrub color is navy blue, with options for pediatric-friendly tops.
