Phlebotomist Full Time

Labcorp seeks a full-time phlebotomist for its Leesville, Louisiana location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient care in a clinical laboratory setting. The role involves venipuncture, data entry, billing, and administrative tasks across a standard Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes
• Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
• Process billing information and collect patient payments when required
• Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital environment (preferred)
• Experience working with pediatric through geriatric patient populations (preferred)
• Reliable transportation for travel between sites
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
