Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Utilizing proven mental health therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions to support individuals and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges. \n
- Conducting thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs of clients and developing initial discharge plans to guide treatment. \n
- Leading individual, group, and family therapy sessions in accordance with comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient. \n
- Offering ongoing treatment planning and coordination of additional services as required, revising plans to reflect changing patient needs. \n
- Maintaining meticulous documentation of therapy services delivered, compliant with facility and professional standards. \n
- Managing a diverse caseload, actively participating in weekly treatment team meetings to enhance collaborative care approaches. \n
- Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to patient safety and satisfaction by addressing any unmet needs and resolving complaints promptly. \n
- Engaging in other related tasks as assigned, ensuring comprehensive support for all patients. \n

Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field. \n
- Current and valid state or national licensure for mental health therapy. \n
- Licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW by the State of Virginia. \n
Your background should ideally include:
