See what we do: The Role We’re looking for someone energetic, reliable, and great with people to support our DanceBUG mascot at live events. This is part handler, part content creator, and fully about creating memorable experiences. You’ll be the person behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly and the person capturing the moments that make the mascot unforgettable. What You’ll Do Support the mascot performer with costume setup, adjustments, and quick changes Guide and assist the mascot safely through busy event spaces Act as the voice of the mascot, engaging with dancers, families, and event staff Manage crowds and photo moments, keeping interactions fun and organized Keep appearances on schedule and communicate timing clearly Stay aware of surroundings to ensure the safety of both the performer and guests Capture photo and video content of mascot interactions for social and marketing use Look for authentic, high‑energy moments that reflect the DanceBUG brand What We’re Looking For Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable engaging with kids, families, and large crowds Outgoing, positive, and quick on your feet Responsible, punctual, and team‑oriented Available weekends (Friday–Sunday) from May through July Willing to travel (car and occasional flights) Experience in dance or event environments is a bonus All travel and accommodations covered Food stipend provided during events Unique opportunity to be part of a highly recognizable brand experience Compensation $250/day $100 for travel-only days Typical event days require 3–4 hours of active work Up to 4 events per weekend Interview Process Selected applicants will be contacted via email to schedule a virtual interview.
