The successful candidates must be able to work cooperatively with staff to carry out the mission of St. Patrick Catholic School. They must be highly qualified with a current Michigan teaching certificate and comfortable with integrating faith and technology into instruction. Required Qualifications Be a practicing Catholic who lives in accordance with the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church Hold a current Michigan K–5 or K–8 Teaching Certificate Be Virtus trained or willing to complete Virtus training upon hire Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Exhibit strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities Foster positive and collaborative relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators through professional and effective communication Possess a thorough understanding of educational laws, policies, and ethical standards and consistently apply them in practice Demonstrate a strong knowledge of effective instructional strategies, teaching methodologies, and classroom best practices Show a commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and the mission of Catholic education Application Deadline: Open until filled.
