Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to support our dentists in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care. We offer flexible scheduling, excellent work/life balance, and open to candidates that can work anywhere from one to five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentist(s) during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms.
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions.
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and care.
• Ensure patient comfort and build rapport to create a positive dental experience.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed.
• Handle sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies in treatment rooms.
• Support front-office operations when needed, including scheduling and patient check-ins.

Qualifications:

• CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of dental software and digital radiography systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on patient care.
