#LI-Skilled-01 Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The role involves handling and organizing storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs. This position requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward. Employees will move items manually and with hand carts.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and handle boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.Lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on uneven and concrete surfaces.Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.Operate handheld scanners.Climb and balance on ladders.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.QualificationsAbility to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance.Proficiency in reading and writing English.Experience with loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.Work ScheduleNormal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.LocationThis opportunity is based in [City, State], a vibrant area known for its [brief factual pitch about the city].Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
