Lead Operations. Support Your Team. Drive Results. We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Dallas warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of all warehouse activities while providing leadership and support to both warehouse and office personnel. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and team leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable working alongside employees to support operational success. Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and operational support functions. This position works closely with warehouse staff, office personnel, customer service teams, and transportation partners to ensure customer expectations are met while maintaining a safe and productive workplace. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires a strong floor presence, operational awareness, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse support activities. Coordinate priorities between warehouse operations and office personnel to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor workload and adjust labor resources as operational demands change. Communicate operational updates, service concerns, and workflow challenges to leadership. Ensure all warehouse processes are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Team Leadership & Development Provide direct leadership and daily oversight of warehouse and office staff. Lead by example through active floor presence, accountability, and communication. Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to employees. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability. Operational Execution Ensure customer orders, inventory transactions, receipts, and shipments are processed accurately and on time. Monitor productivity, service levels, and workflow efficiency. Identify and resolve operational challenges while escalating concerns as appropriate. Support workforce scheduling and labor planning to maintain proper operational coverage. Customer Service & Communication Support day‑to‑day communication regarding customer and operational needs. Partner closely with customer service teams and internal departments. Escalate staffing issues, inventory discrepancies, operational risks, and customer‑impacting concerns promptly. Maintain professional and timely communication across all levels of the organization. Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce safe work practices throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment accountability. Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify and address safety or operational concerns. Qualifications 2–5+ years of warehouse supervision, operations management, or related leadership experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience leading and developing small operational teams. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Experience working cross‑functionally with customer service, transportation, and office teams. Leadership Expectations Maintain strong operational visibility and engagement with employees. Support daily operational decision‑making and workflow management. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and open communication. Promote a safe, organized, and positive work environment. Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to operational excellence. Physical Requirements Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and leadership. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including walking the facility and monitoring operations throughout the day.
