Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2268 $500 Contract Completion Bonus Job Details Work 12-hour shifts with options for day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Weekend rotation every other weekend No on-call requirements 1 holiday required per contract Schedule made in 6-week increments Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required First-time travelers accepted Patient ratios of 1:1-3; team nursing model utilized when managing more than 2 patients Care for a diverse patient population including general/medical, cardiac, trauma, surgical, and neuro cases Perform vent/trach management, tube/drain management, chest tube care, and invasive line management including arterial lines and CVP Cardiac rhythm interpretation including reading and measuring strips required Medication titration including sedation, pressors, cardiac, pain, and paralytic medications required EPIC experience required Preferred skills include abdominal pressure monitoring, EVDs, CVVH, and IABP May float anywhere in the hospital within scope of practice; travelers float first When floating to MedSurg/Tele units or ED Boarding, patient ratio will be 1:4 Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS TNCC certification preferred Scrub color: Any solid color, professional; no graphics, logos, or designs Free parking available in designated employee areas Benefits Weekly pay via direct deposit and accessible payroll support 401k with 100% matching Monthly reimbursement for health insurance Maximum non-tax stipends available including lodging, meals and incidentals 24/7 On-call support Medical benefits Dental benefits Vision benefits Referral bonus Facility This facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 91 beds total and a 14-bed ICU unit. The ICU is supported by a charge RN who typically takes a patient assignment, 1-2 CNAs per shift, bedside and centralized telemonitoring, a HUC on day shift, and a break buddy system. Additional support includes respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7, as well as occupational, physical, and speech therapy during daytime hours. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical record system, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing. Location Oconomowoc, WI.
