CNC Machinist - Mill Operator

Job Description Summary: The Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist will work at the Erlanger, KY Service Center to service and manufacture large scale, power generation equipment and their subassemblies by following blueprints and specific work instructions. Responsibilities Work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuries. Set‑up and operate various CNC machine tools (horizontal/vertical mills). Read CNC programs, familiar with G & M codes. Make minor edits to CNC programs. Read and interpret engineered blue‑print drawings. Understand and apply geometric tolerances. Set up and safely use inspection tools and gauges (inner diameter, outer diameter, micrometers, calipers, pit tape, bore gauges, thread gauges, etc.). Machine to required tolerances of .001” – .005”. Determine machining feeds, speeds and tool selections. Work effectively with the team to ensure successful delivery to the customer. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.
