Medical Surgical Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and well-being through effective assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document patient progress and medical history accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state-issued Registered Nurse license.
• Possess 2+ years of experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6 efficiently.
• Exhibit excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
