Registered Dental Hygienist

About the Practice No nights or weekends. The office is open Monday-Thursday 7-5, Friday 7-1. Full time position available. Job Responsibilities Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments. Applies fluoride and sealants to prevent dental decay. Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins. Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums; using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession. Taking digital radiographs and using an intra‑oral camera. Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist. Experience with Eaglesoft/Dexis is a plus but not necessary. 1 hour prophy, 1.5 hour SRP, 1.5 hour new patients.
