Registered Nurse - Surgery / Operating Room

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Surgery and Operating Room settings to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert circulating nursing care across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes within a dynamic surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide circulating nurse support during orthopedic, general, robotic-assisted, and select OB/GYN surgeries
- Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards
- Collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate supplies and equipment needs
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes during procedures
- Document all relevant patient and procedure information accurately
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Surgery/Operating Room circulating RN experience
- Current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with North Carolina endorsement
- BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Comfortable circulating in orthopedic, general, da Vinci/robotic-assisted, and some OB/GYN procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
