Registered Nurse - Surgery / Operating Room

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Surgery and Operating Room settings to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert circulating nursing care across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes within a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide circulating nurse support during orthopedic, general, robotic-assisted, and select OB/GYN surgeries
Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards
Collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate supplies and equipment needs
Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes during procedures
Document all relevant patient and procedure information accurately

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Surgery/Operating Room circulating RN experience
Current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with North Carolina endorsement
BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Associate Degree in Nursing
Comfortable circulating in orthopedic, general, da Vinci/robotic-assisted, and some OB/GYN procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
