Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our growing Hospital Medicine team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking for a 7 on / 7 off Hospitalist schedule, a supportive clinical environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused hospital setting while still benefiting from the resources of a large integrated health system.

Hospitalist Program Highlights Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (block schedule for optimal work-life balance) Daily Census: ~45 patients (shared between day and night providers) Admissions: 510 per day Staffing Model: Typically 2 providers on per shift ICU Model: Closed ICU with specialty and intensivist support Environment: Collegial, team-based Hospital Medicine program Scope: Bread-and-butter Internal Medicine with strong subspecialty backup
