Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Weekend Requirement: Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period (6-week schedule period)

Contract Length: Minimum 10 weeks

Years of Experience: 2 years Certifications: TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission) ACLS BLS PALS EMR: Cerner Unit-Specific Skills: Emergency/trauma care (adult & pediatrics) Triage Blood product administration Start and maintain IVs, IV vasopressors Care of ventilated patients; procedural sedation monitoring Tele-neuro and tele-psych familiarity Basic trauma/ortho neuro skills

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. Assess and triage patients based on the urgency of their medical conditions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Administer medications and perform procedures as per established protocols. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition. Educate patients and families on health management and emergency interventions.

Orientation: 24 hours RTO/Time-off: Max 7 days preferred; no RTO during the first 7 days or last day of the contract.
