Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Radiology Technologist is needed for an exciting contract opportunity. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, while working collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team. The role is essential to providing accurate diagnostic results and supporting exceptional patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour evening shifts (full-time, 40 hours per week)
• Primarily mid-shift with occasional PM shifts
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage as needed per unit
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Valid ARRT (R) certification; Illinois state licensure required
• Proficient in radiographic techniques and equipment operation
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Prior experience working in a hospital imaging department preferred
• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper function and safety standards
• Accurately document completed exams and patient information in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure timely exam interpretation
• Adhere to regulations regarding radiation exposure and quality control
• Support infection control and patient safety standards at all times

$2,275 - $2,406/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
