Take on a meaningful role supporting students in a dynamic educational environment as an Ed Tech III. Two dedicated individuals are needed for immediate contract openings, working closely with a supportive school district near Portland, ME. In this position, you’ll make a real difference, assisting educators and helping students reach their full potential.
This contract opportunity runs through June 11, with consistent hours from 7:15am-2:45pm and early release at 1:10pm on Wednesdays. You'll enjoy approximately 33 hours per week, providing stability while working within an engaging team.
What we're looking for:
- Valid Ed Tech III license in hand (required for consideration)
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with students, teachers, and staff
- Flexibility, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ growth
Your key responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in delivering instructional and behavioral support
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students based on individual needs
- Help manage classroom activities and daily routines
- Support students with varying abilities to ensure equitable learning opportunities
- Encourage positive behavior and engagement in classroom settings
In this role, you will work on a W2 hourly contract and earn a competitive rate of $25-29 per hour. Healthcare benefits are available, ensuring you’re well-supported throughout your assignment. You will also find yourself in a collaborative, encouraging environment that values your contribution.
