Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures following physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards of care
• Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective action
• Provide education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions
• Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of RRT experience required
• Experience with Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG required
• BLS certification required
• NBRC credential required
• Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license required
• Must reside more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR
