Azure Production Support Engineer

Location: Hamilton, NJ (Onsite)

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
Monitoring tools (Azure App Insights)
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems and networking

Roles & Responsibilities:

5+ years of Azure experience
Good BFSI domain knowledge
Monitor live Azure applications and infrastructure 24/7
Respond to production incidents, outages, and alerts
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes
Handle incident tickets (ServiceNow/JIRA) and ensure SLA adherence
Analyze logs using Azure App Insights
Provide on-call support for critical issues
Track system health, metrics, and alerts
Work with development teams for bug fixes and deployments
Participate in release management and change processes
Suggest system improvements and automation opportunities
Document incidents, solutions, and known issues
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Automate repetitive tasks
Improve reliability and reduce manual interventions
Implement proactive monitoring and preventive fixes
