We specialize in creating inspiring hotel stays for our guests in iconic destinations.This is a rare opportunity to be paid to learn, have an immediate and lasting impact in a young startup company and culture, and grow personally and professionally with an amazing team.You will love it at Weekender if our core values below get you excited and inspired too!Embrace a Growth MindsetBe AdventurousBe a NinjaBe a HostBe of IntegrityWhat you'll be responsible for:As a Bartender I, you'll focus on providing consistent, friendly service while mixing and serving standard drinks, maintaining a clean and stocked bar, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring responsible alcohol service.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Mix and serve standard cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide attentive service.Verify guest identification and enforce alcohol service laws.Maintain cleanliness of bar area and restock supplies as directed.Handle payments and operate POS system accurately.Support servers and teammates during busy shifts.Perform other duties as assigned.Success MeasuresDrink Accuracy: 90%+ accuracy following standard recipes.Service Speed: Drinks delivered within service time standards.Guest Satisfaction: Positive guest feedback on friendliness and service.Responsible Service: 100% compliance with ID checks.Cleanliness & Stocking: Bar stocked and clean at shift end.Financial Accuracy: Minimal till discrepancies.QualificationsExcellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests).Understanding of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishes.Must visually scan restaurants for cleanliness.Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.Accurate cash handling and ability to calculate tips.Working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to fluctuating customer volume.Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in varying temperatures.
