X-ray Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. This position offers flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during imaging
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification required
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Assisting with basic medical assistant duties
