LOCATION Mooresville, NC 28115 COMPENSATION $30/hour SCHEDULE Onsite Monday – Friday (40 hours per week) CONTRACT TERM 6-month contract with high likelihood of extension/conversion to full-time employee POSITION OVERVIEW - The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports. Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks. Submit daily pricing & audit claim/credits in SAP/ERP platform to submit and clear high volume deductions for Retail and Pro business channels Aggregate and submit claim information Perform end-to-end internal and external financial audit of Lowes monthly/annual program billing Identify root cause, investigate, and develop solutions for pricing variance events Ability to present analyses/findings in clear simple terms to Finance and Executive Leadership in weekly and monthly meetings Provide recommendations on pricing/audit validations process improvements; create process improvement plans Document processes and store in historical repository for future use in training and post audit validations. Lead trainings on said processes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. 0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required. Advanced proficiency Excel required Ability to understand complex financial and operational processes Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Highly collaborative and flexible to adapt to team dynamics, changes in schedule, and procedure Outstanding ability to juggle competing priorities and thrive in a deadline-driven environment Detail Oriented; thoroughness in work PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
