About the Role
The Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, and storing materials and products within a warehouse environment. This role involves operating material handling equipment, managing inventory activities, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials to support warehouse operations. Candidates should be responsible, organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move materials and products to designated locations within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as needed.
• Ensure accurate inventory management by labeling and organizing stock and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and report issues to supervisors.
• Assist with order picking, packaging, and staging materials for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training available).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required.

Tools, Equipment, and Systems

• Forklifts (training available)
• Pallet jacks
• Inventory management systems (basic computer skills)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Physical coordination for handling materials.
• Ability to work in a warehouse setting, following safety protocols.
