Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 10 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience. • BSN completion preferred. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Acute Cardiac Unit/Stepdown (Post-procedure monitoring and management of patients following cardiac interventions (e.g., PCI, ablation, pacemaker/ICD insertion, TAVR) and vasoactive medication management). Demonstrated skills in I.V. administration and telemetry monitoring. Required Credentials: IABP (Intra-aortic balloon pump) course. CCHC Pharmacology Exam and CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam required prior to start date. Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam & a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in an immediate cancellation by the facility. Preferred Skills/Experience: Current Cardiovascular interventional nursing experience within the last 5 years. Preferred Credentials: Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN). Unit Details: Use of lead apron required. Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day shifts with start times 07a-330p, 08a-430p and 09a-530p.
