Carpenter HelperAs a Technician Helper, you will assist the team by taking directions from the supervisor and executing tasks such as selecting, cutting, shaping, and assembling structural units using various tools. You will be responsible for moving supplies, materials, and equipment across the project site, ensuring adherence to safety rules and procedures, assisting in the installation of wall panels, and performing general cleanup.ResponsibilitiesTake direction from the supervisor.Select, cut, shape, and assemble structural units using tools.Move supplies, materials, and equipment across the project site manually or using lifting/transferring equipment.Maintain awareness of safety rules and procedures.Assist with the installation of wall panels.Perform general cleanup activities.Essential SkillsExperience working in the construction industry.Comfortable performing general laborer duties for 10 hours a day.Proficient in using hand tools, and experience in steel, carpentry, structural, concrete, roofing, iron work, and rigging.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in concrete, roofing, rigging, or other types of manual labor.Ability to read and understand construction measurements.Why Work Here?This role offers the potential for contract-to-hire after six months. The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Candidates must be open to traveling within 50 miles of Nashville, which could include locations such as Dickson, Murfreesboro, and Columbia. The work involves manual labor in heat, so previous experience in such conditions is necessary.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
