GI Lab Tech

Schedule

Schedule M-F 6:30a-3p with intermittent weeknight and weekend call.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 16

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Required: BLS, GTS Certification.
Experience with inpatient/outpatient GI Lab - GI and Pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Familiarity with ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, Navigation Bronch.

Responsibilities

Perform GI diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Assist in the care of patients undergoing GI procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Maintain equipment and adhere to sanitation protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals in providing patient care.
Educate patients regarding procedures and aftercare.

Compliance / Notes

MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
