How it fits the AI era AI makes fake documents, planted stories, and impersonation cheap, so the role exists partly because attackers can now produce at scale. The work leans on AI to monitor many surfaces quickly and to spot machine made output, while judgment about attribution, evidence, and legal limits stays human. Writing clear memos and knowing where the line is cannot be automated. How it builds AI experience The role offers hands on practice using AI to watch Wikipedia, search, review sites, and domain registrations at speed and to detect synthetic content. Building this means getting fluent with monitoring and detection tools alongside account graph and stylometry methods, applied to a company serving government agencies where every action must survive review.
