Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Sumter, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour day shift with a guaranteed 36 hours, with the expectation of working up to 40 hours weekly.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will provide care in an outpatient orthopedic setting, delivering evaluation, treatment plans, and therapy interventions to patients. Collaboration with a diverse clinical team is essential for optimizing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to aid in patient recovery.
• Work towards a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, seeing 12-14 patients per day.
• Manage double-booking of follow-up visits.
• Float to other clinics as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Outpatient experience is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid Physical Therapist license. New graduates are welcome to apply. PTA candidates will not be accepted.
