Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service. Servers are responsible for creating memorable guest experiences, driving sales through menu knowledge, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming dining experience.
• Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy and quality of food served.
• Check on guests regularly and ensure satisfaction throughout their meal.
• Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to increase sales.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Prepare and present the check accurately and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service stations.
• Assist with side work, including restocking, cleaning, and closing duties.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant service standards.
• Work collaboratively with hosts, bussers, runners, and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred (restaurant or hospitality).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills for handling checks and payments.
• Ability to stay organized under pressure.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Preferred Skills

• Strong sales mindset and ability to upsell menu items.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine is a plus.
• Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and act proactively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with orders.

Physical Requirements
