Atrial fibrillation, Atrial Flutter Special Procedures/Unit Details : Hours of operation in the cath lab holding area are 6am-8:30pm. The cath Lab holding RN prepares patients prior to Cath and EP procedures to ensure that patients are ready for procedure at their scheduled start time. CLH RN s oversees recovery of patients post procedure to include hemodynamic monitoring, recovering from general Anesthesia, recovering from moderate sedation, intubation, pulling arterial and venous sheaths, and removing radial bands. Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to an employee status after working their third consecutive 13-week contract or after 39 weeks. If the traveler does not wish to convert to a team member status, they will be required to take a minimum six-month separation before they are eligible to return as a traveler for the organization. Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal. Orientation is every Monday. Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.
