Job Description And Duties Under the general direction of the Office Services Supervisor II, the Office Technician (OT) (Typing) serves as the Court Clerk in the Workers’ Compensation Division, performing a wide range of the most difficult clerical duties. In that role, the OT evaluates a variety of incoming legal documents and correspondence using the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS). Working Conditions This position is located at: 1500 Hughes Way, Suite C203, Long Beach, CA 90810. The OT(T) works in a smoke-free DWC Office under LED lighting, controlled temperature, quiet to moderate noise levels; equipped with cubicles computer, and other office equipment. Ability to retrieve and transport legacy box files in a safe manner. We offer a hybrid work schedule in accordance with DIR’s telework policy. Special Requirements The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
