Physician Hospitalist - OB

Overview Job Description: Help care for pregnant women and women's health patients in a busy hospital. Work with a community health partner and midwives. Assist with about 80 births each month in a supportive setting. Be available for patients 24 hours a day in the hospital, including labor and delivery, OB/GYN triage, and emergency calls when needed. Serve as a referral resource for gynecological patients in the region. Check on patients daily after surgeries and after giving birth. Be part of a teamwork approach to improve patient safety and health in the community. Work with a team that includes anesthesia professionals, NICU staff, and midwives. No additional doctor on-call duties; this is a full-time hospital position. Responsibilities See Overview above for day-to-day responsibilities.
