What You’ll Do You’ll play a key role in keeping our billing and Accounts Receivable operations running smoothly. Your work will directly support our financial accuracy, customer satisfaction, and overall operational success. Daily responsibilities include: Preparing and issuing accurate customer invoices Posting payments and applying credits Reviewing billing data for accuracy and completeness Resolving billing discrepancies and responding to customer inquiries Maintaining Accounts Receivable records and documentation Monitoring outstanding invoices and assisting with collections Generating billing, aging, and AR reports Coordinating with internal departments to verify billing information Supporting month‑end close activities Maintaining organized billing files Assisting with audits and providing documentation as needed Handling order entry, vendor follow‑ups, and general administrative tasks What You Bring We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and confident in a fast‑paced office environment. Essential qualifications: 2+ years of billing (non‑medical), AR, or clerical accounting experience Experience in freight, transportation, logistics, or a similar industry Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and billing practices Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to review, reconcile, and organize billing information Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with invoices, credits, debits, bills of lading, and customer orders Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High school diploma required; associate degree preferred Good judgment, problem‑solving skills, and a willingness to jump in where needed Who You Are You’re someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys helping customers, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
