Job Summary

The Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at Geisinger welcomes applications for a board eligible or board-certified Internal Medicine-Pediatric and/or Family Medicine Physician to join the Milton Clinic and act as the Ambulatory Site Director.

Responsibilities

• The Geisinger Milton Clinic is the continuity clinic site for twenty residents and will spend a half‑day a week serving the patients of Milton in their continuity clinic and spend additional time on their ambulatory rotation as well.
• Act as the Ambulatory Site Director, overseeing clinic operations and resident education.
• Work with core faculty on ambulatory curriculum development, faculty development of preceptors, review and dissemination of resident quality metrics, and clinic‑based quality improvement projects.
• Provide mentorship for residents interested in careers in Primary Care.

Schedule

Outpatient‑only schedule with flexibility. Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM; Saturday 8AM–4:30PM. One evening per week required. Saturday rotation required (approx. 1 in 6). Schedule: 36 clinical and 4 administrative hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (required).
• Experience: Certified and licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania.
