Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Eaglewood Golf Course on Join Base Langley-Eustis VA - Langley location. This is a Temporary position, not to exceed 21 November 2026. This position is guaranteed 0 hours per week but can be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. May be subject to nights, days, weekends, Holidays, and on-call work. Responsibilities Maintains ball washers, replaces tee towels, and flags when needed, removes debris, empty garbage containers, and cleans flowerbeds. Assists in the maintenance of course grounds and facilities using simple powered equipment such as clippers, string trimmers, low- pressure sprayers, power blowers, powered pavement vacuums, and wet vacuums or steam cleaners. Rakes and maintains sand bunkers, sets tee markers and cups on greens daily, maintains ball washers removes debris. Loads, unloads, moves, and stacks bulky items from trucks and other conveyances using hand trucks or dollies. Runs hand lawnmowers or (domestic type) powered lawn mowers, when this does not require heavy physical effort (for example, on steep grades); clears small trees and bushes, using handsaw, hatchet, or clipper. Digs ditches, holes where grading and sloping is not required, fill holes with dirt and level bumps using shovels, hand tampers, and rakes. Digs holes for plants, irrigation system, and tee boxes. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: No previous experience or training is required. Must possess a valid state driver's license appropriate for the size and type of vehicle operated. Experience in operating on or more gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles with a GVE of up to 10,000 pounds such as a pickup truck, sedan, van, jeep, etc. Experience of defensive driving techniques is desired, including skills to recognize developing hazardous road and traffic conditions and the judgement to select alternate routes to avoid potential problems. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
