DescriptionInside a 24/7/365 IT operations center, minutes of downtime on mission-critical systems matter, and the difference between reacting and anticipating comes down to how well operational data is turned into actionable intelligence. The Red Gate Group is seeking a Tableau Dashboard SME in Reston, Virginia to support a major Intelligence Community customer's around-the-clock IT operations center, which continuously monitors the agency's IT infrastructure to ensure rapid incident response and real-time operational awareness for leadership. You will integrate data streams from networks, infrastructure services, and mission applications into near real-time dashboards that drive troubleshooting and situational awareness briefings to executive staff. The work spans the full Tableau lifecycle: connecting and modeling large volumes of structured and unstructured data, building workbooks, Hyper Extracts, and custom dashboards, managing Tableau Server, and tuning SQL for performance. You will also prototype on AWS, deliver analytics through BI tools including Tableau and ServiceNow reporting, recommend new data streams for additional visualizations, and transfer your skills to government and military personnel so they can build dashboards independently.The role also carries real project leadership. You will own the project management artifacts for a select set of projects, from plans and scoping documents to weekly status updates, lead program and project team meetings with stakeholders, and oversee projects from concept through conclusion with detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans. Throughout, you will drive process improvements, resolve business process issues, develop standard operating procedures, and collaborate in a rapid feedback environment to deliver improvements to the end user.You Have12+ years of experience, including recent experience within the last 2 years. This experience requirement is firm and cannot be met through education or certifications.Master's degree in a related field, or one of the following in its place: an Associate's degree in a related field and 4 additional years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 additional years of relevant experience, or 6 additional years of relevant experience.
