Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are integral to providing urgent, specialized care for patients of all ages during critical moments. They are trained to handle a variety of trauma and emergency situations, ensuring rapid assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate incoming patients promptly to determine the severity of their conditions.
  
  
• 
  Prioritize patient needs based on assessed injuries and medical issues.
  
  
• 
  Administer emergency nursing care in alignment with established protocols and best practices.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient treatment and transfer.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on ongoing care, procedures, and treatment plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 18 months of recent ED nursing experience, with at least six months in the past six months.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills necessary for effective care planning.
  
  
• 
  Possess an active NJ State Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS-AHA, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Telemetry certifications.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
