Project Manager

The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an established and growing structural steel organisation in the Nashville, Tennessee area . This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional with a strong background in structural steel erection or commercial/industrial construction to take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, fabricators, field teams, subcontractors and vendors, playing a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget. What You'll Be Doing Manage structural steel erection projects from pre-construction through final closeout . Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors. Act as a key point of contact for clients, fabricators, superintendents, vendors and other stakeholders . Manage RFIs, RFQs, change orders and project documentation. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Monitor project performance against schedule, budget and quality requirements. Identify and resolve project issues before they impact delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners. Support continuous improvement across project management processes. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of construction and/or structural steel experience . Proven experience managing projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts and project scope . Experience working with subcontractors, vendors and multiple project stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills. Experience working across both office and active job-site environments . Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems . Experience with Smartsheet or similar software would be advantageous. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline and/or PMP certification would be beneficial, but practical industry experience is highly valued. #J-18808-Ljbffr Novax Recruitment Ltd
