Location: Boston, Massachusetts or New York, New York Base Salary: $225,000 – $250,000 +BonusKey Responsibilities:Lead U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance activities, ensuring accurate and timely filings. Oversee global tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions through coordination with local teams and external advisors. Develop and execute tax planning strategies related to transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, legal entity optimization, restructuring initiatives, and acquisitions. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and coordinate tax audits, inquiries, and examinations. Monitor evolving tax legislation and assess business impacts, ensuring proactive compliance and risk mitigation. Support tax accounting and reporting requirements under U.S. GAAP and local statutory frameworks. Provide strategic tax guidance to business leaders on key corporate initiatives and growth opportunities. Lead global treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, and forecasting. Oversee funding strategies, banking relationships, and treasury-related financial activities. Manage corporate banking structures, cash movements, bank accounts, and corporate card programs. Ensure effective treasury controls, governance, and compliance across the organization. Support legal entity management and related corporate compliance activities. Maintain strong internal controls, documentation standards, compliance calendars, and governance processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across tax and treasury systems, processes, and reporting capabilities. Develop, mentor, and lead team members while fostering a high-performance culture. Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and executive leadership to support business objectives and strategic growth initiatives.Experience:10+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally combining public accounting and corporate industry experience. Deep expertise in U.S. federal and state taxation. Significant experience managing international tax matters and global compliance activities. Strong background in transfer pricing, cross-border taxation, and multinational tax planning. Experience partnering with external advisors and coordinating activities across multiple jurisdictions. Treasury experience preferred; however, candidates with strong tax leadership backgrounds and an interest in assuming treasury responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
